Summer Program
Ages 6-14
Our homeschool collaborative operates all year round, but we do have limited openings for families who want to jump in and “live the homeschool lifestyle” in the summer.
Weekly camp membership includes a weekly swimming beach trip, a weekly field trips, two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch, as well as unlimited fluoride-free water.
A week of our ‘summer camp’ program is a great way to try out the school and see if our community would be a good fit for your family.
No two weeks are ever the same!
2024 Session Schedule
Our daily rhythm is such that our kids have plenty of time to opt in to the daily themed sessions, as well as have free time to create, explore, socialize, and visit with our animal friends during the day.

MICROSCHOOL BUILDERS WEEK
We’ll be hosting Microschool students and guides from all over the US and Mexico and introducing their students to the joys of a Minnesota camp summer. Visits to swim at Square Lake, splash at Brown’s Creek, hiking at William O’Brien State Park, playtime in our Forest School Village and canoeing in our school pond will be on the docket…. as well as lots of camp crafts and projects!

CAMP ‘FAVORITES’
A compilation week of past camp classics– PIRATE Day, HARRY POTTER Day, Wacky WATER Day, ANIMAL encounters, MESSY ART projects and more.
Aug 19-23

SURVIVOR Week
Campers form two teams which will compete all week to earn points for the title of “AWS SURVIVOR”. Exciting physical and mental challenges (puzzles, riddles, and a full-property IDOL hunt) will let them explore the great outdoors while creating bonds with other campers that will be sure to last a lifetime. Our annual grand finale is a canoe trip down the St. Croix River!
